WebVisions is over and was a great event. Saw some great sessions, saw some old friends and made some new ones.
The History of the Button presentation felt like it went well. Thank you everybody who attended or expressed interest in the idea.
Here’s the PDF of the presentation. Note that five movies have been pulled out because, well, it’s a PDF. Also some slides need narration, but you’ll get the idea.

Ack, they put my talk in the same timeslot as yours! Thanks for posting the slides. I’m considering a screencast of my presentation… Have you thought about doing the same?
Hey Andy, I thought the same thing! I considered ditching mine to catch yours, but thought better of it.
A screencast eh? That’s a good idea. Let me know if you do one so I can see it.
We’ll have to meet next time.
Do you know if someone recorded the audio? It looks like Webvisions posts some presentations in their podcast section, do you know if yours will be available? (I was at Andy’s talk–that was a rough timeslot! There was so much stuff I wanted to go to.)
Sadly, I believe the audio for my session wasn’t recorded. Ironically, I think it was an issue with the Pause button. I did film it from the back room, but the audio would need some massaging to post it.
I plan to rerecord it myself, pretending there are 75 people in my dining room, and pass it over to WebVisions.
Thanks for asking.
Also on censorship, Welease Bwian is an interesting piece about the making and censoring of Monty Pythons Life of Brian
Note: This is a WordPress comment spam, but too funny to delete.
If you need anyone to see the presentation in your dining room, Bill, I’m available. I was so bummed to miss your presentation.
